Re: Apple iPhone: activating iMessage & FaceTime

Been trying to activate iMessage and FaceTime on an iPhone 6 for two weeks now. It just says waiting for activation.

Re: Apple iPhone: activating iMessage & FaceTime

Had the same problem after joining from yellow telco. What i did:

1. Restore my iPhone.

2. Set as new ( do not restore from backup)

3. Set everything up EXCEPT your Apple ID. Do not Sign in. Just leave it blank

4. Once finished, go to settings > messages > tick on iMessage. After that click “sign imessage with your Apple ID”. Just type in your Apple ID and password

5. Go to Facetime, tick on FaceTime and also click “sign in with your Apple ID”

6. Test whether it work or not

Re: Apple iPhone: activating iMessage & FaceTime

Ouch. Easier said than done. But, I’ll give it a try, once I have the time to. Setting up everything to the way it is now gonna take a lot of time. Thanks, man!

I’ve no idea if anyone noticed this. But, I was able to activate my iMessage and FaceTime using webe’s number. And, I’m able to send normal SMS through my Apple Watch now.

Only recently made available with webe phone number (think it was with iOS 11.1 update). Webe is being discreet about this, I only know about this from a tip on a Facebook group.

Well... It stopped working and now it is showing the same message “waiting for activation” once again. So, that’s just sad. Do any of you experience battery drain while using LTE services with webe?
