NO, we do not collect GST on deposit paid. i.e. RM 100 paid as deposit, upon termination of your account will be refund RM 100 back. However, there may be bank & administrative charges applies, but this is not GST.
We will prompt you to make deposit payment once certain condition is met, in general deposit payment can be made as below: Foreigner Deposit: Will be added automatically when you check-out from our Shopping Page. International Roaming Deposit: Please choose International Roaming in Self-Care or walk in and pay at webe lounge when you want to enable International Roaming service. Credit Limit Deposit: Please walk in and pay at webe lounge when you want to Increase Credit Limit.
Deposit payment will be refunded upon termination of your account and all outstanding balance paid. You can request for deposit payment to be refunded after you have received your final bill from webe. Please ensure you have your bank details ready (Bank Name, Bank Number) as we will process the payment directly to your bank account. Kindly note it may take up to 90 days for the amount to be reflected in your bank account.
There is 3 types of deposit collected and each one is collected on different scenario: #1 Foreigner Deposit : (we only collect this deposit if you are not Malaysian citizen) #2 International Roaming Deposit : (this is to allow you to make and receive calls when overseas) #3 Credit Limit Deposit : (this will be collected if you wish to have higher credit limit than the default assigned)
