Please check the Access Point Name (APN) setting of your phone first. The APN setting should be “webe”. To check and change, please follow the steps below.   Android models: Settings > More > Mobile networks/Cellular networks > Access point names OR Settings > Mobile networks > Access Point Names Click “Edit the Access Point Names” and change the APN to webe Leave other fields as-is and Save the new setting. Reboot your phone if necessary.   iOS models: Settings > Mobile Data > Mobile Data Network OR Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Network. Tap the Access Point Name field and change to webe Leave other fields as-is and Save the new setting. Reboot your phone if necessary.   Alternatively, please send “Data” to “22288”, the short code to allow the internet settings to be pushed to your phone. This SMS will be zero-charged.

No. The Data Roam Pass is country-specific. If you’re travelling to multiple countries in a day, you’ll need to activate a data roam in each country and browse through their respective preferred operators.

In today's smartphone, a lot of Internet activity happens in the background without you even noticing it, i.e. downloading apps updates, receive messages from WhatsApp, Line, WeChat etc. We activated data roaming pass to protect you from bill shock. Once we detected there is Internet usage; if it's been charge in PAYU rate it will be based at RM 49 per 1MB usage (general app update takes minimum 3-5 MB per app). If you wish to disable Internet while roaming; kindly ensure you disable 'Data Roaming' in your smart phone settings page.

what I need to do?   You don't have to turn off International Roaming service in your Self-Care account once you have activated it, just disable the 'Data Roaming' in your smart phone setting. Please ensure you disable the 'Data Roaming' BEFORE you reach your destination country as the data is automatically activated upon you reach the airport and connected to our mobile operator partners.

NO, you do not require to turn off the 'International Roaming' service when you are back in Malaysia, however if you wish to do so you can follow the same steps when you activated the International Roaming; but this time toggle to OFF. Once you back in Malaysia, we can see you are connected to our network and you will continue enjoy webe Voice, SMS and Data services.
